Kimberly is the great-great granddaughter of Prince Albert Ewing, the first African American to practice law in the late 1800’s in Tennessee along with his twin brother Taylor G. Ewing. Both men were very active in law and education and considered trailblazers for their time.  Kimberly attributes that family spirit of education to be the fuel behind her passion for giving of herself and making a difference every day.

Kimberly Ewing is a native of Indianapolis, Indiana.  She holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Communications from the University of Indianapolis and a Master of Science Degree in Student Affairs and Higher Education from Indiana State University.  She served in higher education at Vincennes University for 12 years as the Director of Multicultural Services.  At Vincennes she founded Today’s Black Women and Today’s Black Men, served as a faculty member in the history department, assisted the Gospel Choir, and advised Alpha Theta Chi Sorority.  In addition, Kimberly was a successful pharmaceutical sales executive for 10 years.  After the untimely passing of her beloved mother in 2009, Kimberly decided to return to her first love of speaking, training, and consulting.  She understood the need for her talent to address the issues that haunt our youth on a daily basis.  For fun she loves to travel, write quotes, take pictures, explore, take long walks, swim, and spend quality time with her family and friends.  In addition, she is very passionate about raising awareness and monies for Susan G. Komen for the Cure in memory of her beautiful and beloved mother, Burma Jean Ewing.
